Welcome to Hitchin Running Club (Hitchin Hares), we are a friendly bunch that like to meet up socially for some running, some of us take it more seriously than others. It is a great way to meet like minded people, have some fun and get fit in the process.
Wednesday

We run Wednesday 6:30pm (beginners) and 7pm (club) from St Mary's car park. In summer this is local countryside, in winter around town. We aim to compete a 10km distance as part of the club run

We run Sunday 9am (club) from St Mary's church car park. This is typically cross country with a 10km distance as the target
Events
Events
We run a number of events under the banner of Hitchin Hares. The Herts Winter Cross Country and Summer Mid-Week Leagues being two of those event runs
BurntHare was established in 2016 to bring fantastic events to the market town of Hitchin and surrounding Hertfordshire countryside. It has quickly established a series of great events on the yearly calendar and is looking to expand with lot’s of other sporting events. For established runners and clubs these are must do events, for beginners or those out for fun, the friendly local atmosphere is second to none. You’ll be cheered every step of the way by the local crowds and the awesome volunteers who support the local events
